This might be a silly question but, what is the difference between whole wheat flour and white whole wheat?

Heather

I made these yesterday, and they are delicious! A new family favorite. Thanks for the recipe!

Micaela

Hi Lee - good question! White whole wheat is a type of whole wheat flour that is a bit milder than regular whole wheat but has a higher fiber content than all-purpose flour. A great compromise if you (or your kids) don't love whole wheat. Here's a post I wrote about it: http://mindfulmomma.typepad.com/mindful_momma/2007/06/white_whole_whe.html

I'm so glad to hear that Heather - glad you liked them!

We made these today-- we are always looking for a riff on an old favorite. They smell pretty excellent.
