Early tomorrow morning I'll be heading out the door on my way to New York City for the annual BlogHer conference! BlogHer is a gathering of (mostly) female bloggers who come to learn the tricks of the trade and to network with brands and other bloggers. This will be my fourth time attending this conference and somehow each year seems better than the last.
My Sponsor: Stonyfield Organic
A big thank you to Stonyfield Organic for sponsoring me (and my friend Lori from Groovy Green Livin) for BlogHer this year! As you may know, I've been working with Stonyfield as a Yo-Getter for awhile now, helping them to promote their brand and some of the cool programs they have going like the Know Your Food Superhero program.
Stonyfield Organic yogurt is almost always in my fridge because it is healthy, organic and it tastes fabulous but I love that the company is completely committed to delivering healthy food for a healthy planet. Not only do they donate tons of money (to the tune of $2 million per year) through their Profits for the Planet program but they spearhead many ground-breaking campaigns including Just Label It, the Greener Cow Project and the Gimme 5 recycling program. In short, Stonyfield Organic ROCKS!!
My Plans: Friends, Fun & Frolicking
Let's face it, blogging can be a pretty solitary job. Working from home has its benefits but I wouldn't still be doing it if it wasn't for the community of friends I've made in the 5+ years I've been blogging. Us "green gals" have so much fun hanging out together! We have all sorts of fascinating conversations, we laugh a ton and always end up dancing our tails off at the Sparklecorn party!
This year BlogHer is sporting some pretty amazing guest speakers like Martha Stewart and Katie Couric. Also Solidad O'Brien and Christy Turlington. We've even got President Obama speaking to us via LIVE video feed! Can you believe it?
Look for updates and photos during the conference via my Twitter and Facebook pages. You can also follow the Twitter hashtag #BlogHer12.
Will you be at BlogHer this year? I would love to meet you!

Thanks for all you do showing women fun and fantastically green alternatives for healthy living!

Thanks Anne - that's sweet of you to say! Sorry I won't see you at BlogHer but it sure was nice to meet you at the Safer Chemicals rally this spring!

It can be a little lonely, can't it? Would love to meet all the green ladies someday, but not anytime soon with my little ones -- I wonder if we'll all still blogging in 5 to 10 yrs.

Good question Betsy - I've been blogging for 6 years already so you never know! Hope to meet you IRL some day!
