What better way to snuggle up a brand new baby than in an organic cotton baby blanket! I've got a really nice one to give away this week - it's from Sage Creek Organics, a designer of high quality organic baby clothing and bedding products.
Why organic cotton? Because it is grown without the use of toxic pesticides and fertilizers, making it much gentler on the environment than conventionally grown cotton. You'll notice that organic cotton is super soft - that's because it hasn't been weakened by chemicals during the production and dyeing process - and that makes it gentler on your little one too! Sage Creek Organics is a family run business with a commitment to bringing you high quality, Fair Trade products. All of their cotton is certified by ECOCERT, an international organic certification organization.
One lucky Mindful Momma reader will win the Wiggle, Giggle, Coo baby crib blanket in heirloom white. It is made from 100% organic, 4-ply cotton and is embroidered with the words "wiggle, giggle, coo" and the company's signature dragonfly logo. Retail value $49.95.
If you would like a chance to win this lovely blanket, take a quick peek at the Sage Creek Organics website and let me know what products capture your eye. Just leave a comment on this post. The contest will run through midnight central time on Wednesday, September 10th (only one entry per person please and you must have a U.S. shipping address.)
If you see something you like, now's the time to buy because Sage Creek Organics is offering Mindful Momma readers 15% off their entire purchase through the month September! Just use the following code at checkout: "momma15". Here are some of my favorites - just to whet your appetite!

All her baby blankets would be PERFECT for swaddling. They look to have the right weight and amount of stretch to snuggle a baby perfectly. I like the "bear" one with the paw prints all over!

I like all the baby hats, especially the bear one. I also really like the baby boy kimono set.
This contest is right up my alley. I am a health nut/certified herbalist... and I just had a homebirth in July to our 6th baby who weighed 10 pounds. I hope I win it for him!
