I just made the cherry almond power bites and they're good. I added a teaspoon of lemon juice to help them stick together, and a shake of salt to bring out the flavors. My nine year old said, "yummy! that's better than a power bar."

Oh, and I may roll these or the next batch in coconut to make them a little easier to handle. A great idea and a good recipe!

Glad to hear you liked the Power Bites Nancy! The squirt of lemon juice sounds like a nice addition! What I love most about these is that they are so adaptable!

Any alternatives to using nuts, for my little guy is allergic? thanks

Micaela

Hi Tori - Yes - you can make Power Bites without nuts. Just substitute a different type of dried fruit. I think a date, cherry, apricot combo would be good!
